this gun works fine in dry fire strong action with working set triggers / gun show use but no abuse// barrel has lots of original browning and crisp barrel edges // bore pitted / lock marked o baker // barrel is 36 inches and gun is 50 inches oa / nipple crushed / barrel marked ( t h clark lafeyette, i a cast twist ) // brass buttplate & trigger guard / stock is solid and has some original varnish/ small cracks in top front of lock in vg condition better than average for its age/ gun probably made pre 1860 and made by a very good gunsmith or company not some farmer in the hills // the rear sling swivel is the button type used on many european rifle/// $56 sh ins / just small amount of pitting around nipple / old may be original ramrod// the forend tip may be pewter/ gun could use a careful cleaning to get rid of some of the old attic dust etc
