Description:
Colt Government MK IV Series 70 chambered in 45 ACP with a 5 inch barrel. The serial number dates production to 1977. Also included is the original box, in excellent condition, numbered to the gun. This pistol remains in excellent condition and appears unfired since leaving the factory. The high polished slide flats still retain a deep shine, and the matte finish on top of the slide and frame is exceptional. Overall the finish rates 98% with only light surface blemishing on the sides of the hammer and trigger. The bore is bright with strong lands/grooves, and the chamber area is very clean. The factory grips remain in perfect condition with sharp checkering throughout. The complete and original paperwork include the Instruction Manual, "The Colt Companion", "Colt Firearms Authorized Repair Service Stations", Congratulations Letter and yellow hang tag.
