This break-top revolver is an example of a type that was once the constant companion of barkeeps, shopkeepers, and gentlemen out for the evening. The .38 S&W Cartridge, while anemic by today's standards, was a common EDC caliber in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This particular revolver, while it shows all of the wear and tear of being well-used, locks up tight and is mechanically excellent. .38 S&W
