Description:
This is a stock for a sako l61 that was chambered for 270. The maker passed and I bought it from the son but another individual bought the original rifle and stock. It has been bedded to that action. Incredible looking stock. It has a matching schnabel forend and grip cap that is a much lighter wood. More golden yellow than maple but unsure which type. The grain has been filled with BLO. It has pencil marks starting to consider checkering pattern. No swivel studs or butt pad.
Reason for selling: I have a mauser action I would rather have a blank for than to find a sako action for this stock.
