We have received a very small quantity of original British #1 Mk III SMLE rifles that have been in French government storage since the end of World War II. Each gun has the “PP” marking with a 4-digit number which was the marking the French national police put on these guns when they were collected up after the war.
This gun is in good-very good condition, complete with all original parts, bolt is numbered to the gun, bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling, no visible cracks on the stock. Caliber .303, comes with original magazine. Serial number of this gun is R56878, PP 1962
