Description:
Up for sale is one of the most unique items from my collection. Wildey .45 winchester magnum with 8" barrel, original brochure, owners manual, box with serial number to the handgun, and two extra magazines (each typically valued at $250-325 when you can find them). These two mags are brand new. Custom made chest holster. As for the history/engineering: it was the first gas-operated semi-auto pistol. You can see the very short gas tube, and that knurled ring at the base of the barrel adjusts the gas regulator. The chamber is rated to 48,000psi. In essence, this is a rifle style firing mechanism contained in a handgun. It is the first of its kind and predates the Automag and Desert Eagle. Wildey was made famous in two Hollywood movies, Death Wish 3 with Charles Bronson and Natural Born Killers with Woody Harrelson. A unique to be sure. Shipping will be $125 (it is heavy) to the lower 48 States and Virginia law requires shipping from a FFL to your FFL. I can ship the magazines, manual, brochure, and chest holster separately.
