For your consideration, the Smith & Wesson model 37 Airweight revolver chambered in .38 Special. The Model 37 is essentially a lighter version of the model 36, due to its frame of aluminum instead of steel. This model was likely made in 1968 or 1969 due to the lack of a J in the serial number. The J prefix was added in 1969. .38 Special
