Three line patent date and barrel address on the top flat of the barrel "PATENTED SEPT. 14,1858 / REMINGTON & SONS, ILION, NEW YORK. U.S.A. / NEW MODEL". Post front sight with a V notch rear sight, brass trigger guard, and two piece wood grips with military cartouche on the left grip. It comes with a period flap holster, a leather ammunition pouch, and a packet of six rounds of ammunition
.CONDITION: The finish on this gun has turned to a grey patina. Very good bore with well defined lands and grooves. The grips are minty with a great cartouche. The holster and ammunition pouch are in good condition showing some leather crazing. The cartridge envelope is in very good condition.
