SALE PENDING...................Remington ZOUAVE Civil War Rifle ((MINT))....... LAYAWAY?..... Manufactured by Remington in classic configuration throughout and dated 1863 on lock and near breech. Top left of breech is marked with VP eagle proof and left side of breech is marked with "R.K.A." sub inspector marking. Left flat of stock opposite lock is marked with "HDJ" and "BH" cartouches.
CONDITION: MINTY for its age, with a vast majority of the thinning original finish remaining and lock still showing vibrant case colors. Stock is in matching condition with no major signs of distress. Brass was cleaned, but is beginning to take on a mellow patina. Mechanically fine. Bore is bright with sharp rifling.
