Arisaka Type 99, chambered in 7.7 Jap. Features include: Mauser inspired bolt action, 26 in. barrel length, 5 shot internal box magazine, one-piece bolt construction, controlled feed Mauser style extractor, adj. rear peep style ladder sight, fixed shrouded front blade sight, full length wooden stock, full length upper handguard, bottom mounted sling swivels, metal buttplate, finger grooves on forearm, knurled knob style safety located on the rear of the bolt body, straight bolt handle, action operated sliding dust cover, lever-style bolt release with integral ejector, blued finish. This Type 99 is a 3rd series and was made by the Nagoya Arsenal as indicated by the marks on the receiver. The chrysanthemum has been ground off from the receiver. Comes with a dust cover. 7.7 Japanese
