Description:
Winchester pre 64 Model 70 Low Comb Featherweight, serial #301xxx, .308, manufactured 1953. This early featherweight retains 98% of the original factory blue. There are a couple of very minor handling marks, which you have to search for to notice. The wood retains 96% finish and exhibits several handling marks almost all of which are unobtrusive. There is one dent on the left forearm just below the rear sight blank. The checking is undamaged and crisp throughout. An era Redfield peep sight is installed and it is in excellent condition.
A very handsome, early Featherweight with the rare low comb stock configuration.
