****SOLD**** Kuchenreuter Flintlock Duellers fitted with 9 3/16 inch octagon barrels, checkered full length grip/stocks with ebony forends, brass square-back trigger-guards, ram rods with ebony tips, brass grip caps and hardware, and chambered .50 Cal. flintlock. The number "1" stamped gun is "Kuchenreuter" marked on the top of the barrel and has an excellent bore with sharp rifling. The action has a strong hammer spring, but it does not lock back in the cocked position (spur on hammer is worn down?). The number "2" stamped gun is "D (?). Regenspurg" marked on the top of the barrel, has an excellent bore with sharp rifling and the action functions perfectly. Both pistols have an engraved Frizzen and strong Frizzen springs and both barrels are fitted with brass front sights in a dovetails. Both pistols appear to having originally had color case-hardened finshed lock plates with all other steel parts appearing to having never been finished. The grip/stocks appear to retain most of their original finishes, with a minor crack on the left side under the barrel of pistol #1 and minor cracks on both sides under the barrel on pistol #2. All screw-heads are unmolested and both ram rods fit securely in their grip/stocks. Sorry, no presentation case.
