Description:
Offering for sale from master engraver Angelo Bee's personal collection is a rare marijuana themed gun. Angelo Bee has always been fascinated with marijuana leaves. One reason is that his grandmother used to grow marijuana in the middle of her corn field in Lamon, Italy, where he grew up before World War II. She used the marijuana plants for bird seed and as an attractant to catch migratory birds using netting. The right side of the receiver has two marijuana leaves inlaid at each end surrounded by marijuana leaves in “bas relief. The centerpiece of the right receiver had a gold inlaid eagle attacking a gold inlaid squirrel. Around the inlaid animals is an engraved forestry scene. The centerpiece of the left receiver had a gold inlaid eagle attacking a gold inlaid salmon. Around the inlaid animals is an engraved forestry scene. The left side of the receiver also has two marijuana leaves inlaid at each end surrounded by marijuana leaves in “bas relief. The top of the receiver has a gold inlaid owl in the middle with an engraved forestry scene around it and two gold inlaid marijuana leaves on each end surrounded by marijuana leaves in “bas relief”. The trigger guard has gold inlaid marijuana leaf surrounded by scroll work and one engraved marijuana leaf. The stock is a rich dark walnut with fine checkering by Donnie Gemes. The finish is by Eubanks Gunsmithing. The gun is autographed with “ABee” and a bee symbol on the bottom right of the receiver. NRA Grade: Excellent.
