Description:
This is a very good condition Benelli 121 M1 12 gauge 'riot' pump action shotgun, sold here in the U.S. to police and military markets during the early 1980s until around 1985. This model is the precursor to the well respected M1 Super 90 and later the M4 shotguns. Purported to be the fastest autoloading shotgun on the market, they were well respected in their day and now becoming very collectible. Very few of these that were sold here stateside remain in good condition like this one—most went to police departments and are in pretty rough condition, if you can find one.
Features 7 round tubular magazine, 19.7 inch barrel, and ultra reliable Benelli inertia recoil system.
I bought this gun in 1995, took it to the range once, and then put it back in my gun safe until now. This shotgun is in very good condition, with minimal wear, and an excellent example of a very scarce original Benelli shotgun.
