For your consideration, a Smith & Wesson model 27-2 chambered in .357 Magnum. With its finely checkered sight plane, the model 27 was once S&W's flagship revolver. The barrel is pinned, and the chambers are recessed. From the "N" stamp on the frame beneath the left grip panel, the nickle finish is factory. This piece dates to 1980. .357 Magnum
