Description:
"SN: 27357 made circa 1880’s in London England. 14 gauge side by side shotgun with 30" Damascus steel barrels with a single brass bead sight and 2 ¾" chambers. Side lock hammer gun with rebounding hammers and a Deely style forearm latch. 14 3/8" LOP to a replaced checkered horn butt plate with a drop of 1 ¾" to 2 ¾". Bores are In good condition with light frosting, Damascus pattern is faded but visible, it appears the barrels were varnished however about half of the varnish is worn off. Action is nicely engraved with some original case coloring still visible. Stock and forearm are in good condition with normal wear and handling marks with 1 small crack about 1 inch long visible behind each of the lock plates. Barrels are tight and on face with the top lever resting in the center. Overall weight is 8lbs 10oz.
