Gorgeous Dakota Arms Model 97 Hunter Delux custom rifle. Built in 2005 when Dakota Arms was at it's highest level of quality that rivaled Holland & Holland and Rigby rifles. 30:06 24" barrel, 13 1/2" LOP with 1" recoil pad. 8 pounds Many custom features include hooded foresight, barrel band swivel and inletted rear swivel, custom stock checkering, ebony forend tip, 3 panel checkered bolt, Talley QD 1" rings, XX wood, straddle floorplate, Z plate, Leupold VX3 2.4x8x36. Rifle has hunted Africa. Metal 100%. Some dings on stock that would likely rub out. Checkering remains perfect. New replacement cost (with a two year wait by the new Parkwest/Dakota Arms Co.$5,700). Asking $4,000 with reasonable offers considered.
