Rare Factory Scoped 1892 Winchester Takedown Rifle with an original A5 Winchester scope. Make know doubt about the validity of this factory ordered 1892 Winchester. Please observe the placement of the Winchester proof mark on the barrel. I also included a picture with the scope mounts taken off so people can see that there was never a proof mark on top of the barrel. Manufactured in 1927. Special features that also come with this particular gun: takedown and special rear tang sight. 25-20 caliber with 24" octagon barrel and full magazine tube. They both retain 75 to 80% of their original blue. I will rate the bore an 8 on a scale from 1 to 10. Receiver retains 65 to 75% original blue. Takedown is nice and tight, no wobble. Action functions nicely. Both forend and buttstock are in good condition. They had some shellac added years ago. The wood is still proud, never been sanded or cleaned just had the shellac added. Just a very rare factory scoped 1892 Winchester Takedown with A5 scope offered at a reasonable price. Please feel free to ask questions.
