Description: General Specs: German, Late 19th Century, .22 Caliber, 36oz., Barrel 10 1/2″ Serial Number: NSN Vintage Firearms Inc is pleased to offer this elegant target pistol. Similar in style to the Flobert Parlor Pistols of the late 19th Century this example is chambered for .22 caliber. There is no serial number on the action, but the barrel is marked RF16 and all internal parts are numbered 16. The gun does not have any makers marks but has Germanic styling attributes. The workmanship on this pistol is first rate with exquisite wood to metal fit. The Receiver, lever and grip cap retain 99% vivid factory original finishes. The Walnut has good grain and has excellent hand cut checkering with mullered borders. A testament to how little use this gun has seen are the set triggers which feature a delicate polished straw finish, a finish that is known to wear easily with use but here is as perfect as the day it left the gunsmiths bench. The octagon barrel is 10 ½” long, crowned and has a bright shinny bore. Parlor pistols in this condition are uncommon as most are badly treated so add this unique piece to your collection soon!
