This is a model 1912 Winchester shotgun chambered in 20ga. Overall condition for it‚‚s age is very good. The wood has some dings and knicks and the bluing is wearing off the metal. The most noteworthy here is the 21\" barrel. This shotgun originally would have had a longer barrel, so this has been modified. The barrel is Full Choke. The lettering on the firearm has been highlighted in white.
Serial number 23172 - indicates manufacture date of 1920.

20 ga., mfg. 1912, 2 1/2 in. chamber mfg. until 1927 standard barrel, 6 shot, blue metal, full choke, hammerless, straight walnut stock and forearm, marked Model 1912 from 1912-1919, approx. ser. no. 172,000. 14 in. LOP was original standard.
