Vintage Westley Richards de Luxe caliber 300 H&H magazine rifle. 24" barrel features pedestal base with one standing two folding express sights graduated 200/300/400 yards. Westley's signature front sight with turnover hood reveals the platinum bead and folding moon sight. Barrel address "Westley Richards & Co. England". Bore is as new. The sidewall of the Mauser action is marked 'Regulated for 220 grain bullet". A sliding thumb safe, inside trigger bow floorplate release and hinged grip cap complete the package. A Leupold M-7-3X scope mounted on EAW detachable mounts provides the optics. A true de Luxe the rifle extensively engraved with bold acanthus scroll ten inches down the barrel and complete coverage of the trigger guard floorplate and case colored grip cap. The unmistakable British style stock with traditional cheek piece, fleur de lis style checkering and black for end tip. Length of pull measures 14" over a skeleton butt plate. Weighs 9 lbs., 6 oz. circa this 1952 production is the quintessential Best British Safari Rifle. The 300 HH is one of the finest cartridges ever designed. Wonderful condition. Complete with a full length case and makers label.
