Absolutely the single finest 410 NID we've handled. Built with 26" steel barrels that have matted concave top rib and small brass front bead. Brls with wavy line engraving at breech ends. Barrel flats with SN stamped and "4" at front of each flat (full choke). Splinter forearm checkered in point pattern with blued latch release and iron. Casehardened boxlock receiver with Setter engraved on right and left. Blued trigger guard. Gun built with double triggers, extractors, cocking indicators, auto safety.
Overall the gun remains in extremely fine all original condition and is most certainly near mint. Barrels retain nearly all of their factory original blue. Buttstock and forearm are crisp with nearly all of their original finish and have a few scattered light impressions. Frame retains virtually all of its bold original case color. Trigger guard with more than 95% original blue. Breech face shows no shell ring and only extractor scrapes. Buttplate is crisp and original. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are excellent. Undoubtedly, the single finest 410 Ithaca we have had the privilege to offer!
