Colt 1851 London marked percussion revolver.
This gun appears to be Gustave Young engraved. This gun came from a Southern collection and made its way across the pond and was probably confederate used.
Unlike most engraved guns, based on condition this gun saw military service as well as probably frontier use. Correct English markings. Comes with a fine old original holster. This fine early slim Jim style holster is worth several hundred by itself. To preserve the integrity of this beautiful old holster I do not put the gun into the holster but it will fit and a new owner can do as they please. Frontier repairs and grips. Not a perfect gun but a fine piece of history.
