Here we have once again for our loyal left handed customers this is a custom stainless barrel as well as the Williams extractor has also been installed. This is a great gun that has also hardly been used. Open to serious offers as it is on consignment I will have to check with the owner before accepting any offer.
This is some information I have just recieved fro the owner of this rifle:
This rifle was put together at the old Camp Perry (Ohio) military gun works. It was used in 1000yd competition events. I believe this rifle features a Shilen (now out of Ennis, Tx) 25inch Stainless Steel #3 contoured bull barrel with a 1 in 10 twist. Action is controlled round feed and features a 3 way wing safety. Action length is considered a standard length and will accept short (.243 class) to standard (30.06 class) cartridges. Thats a whole lot of calibers. Weight was around 10 pounds before I changed it out to a black walnut classic model 70 stock and added a 1 piece solid steel "Williams" floorplate and a straight grain steel "Williams" extractor.
