Extremely Rare Factory Engraved 2" Colt Detective Special chambered in .38 Special with serial number matching original box dating production to 1974. This revolver remains in "as new" unfired condition with no detractions. The stunning original nickel finish still retains a deep shine over the entire frame. Overall the condition rates 99+%. The cylinder face, recoil shield, and forcing cone appear as new with no discernable turn line on the cylinder itself. The action is crisp with tight lock up, and the bore is clean with strong lands/grooves. The factory walnut grips are excellent. The box itself is in fair condition with tape repair. A Colt Archive letter, along with all the original paperwork is included. A seldom encountered, complete and original factory engraved Colt collector package that would be difficult to improve on at any price. Free Shipping FFL to FFL.
