A very rare Spencer-Harder post Civil War conversion 30 inch octagon rifle manufactured by J. Harder of Penn. for the western trade. Harder bought tons of surplus Civil War Spencers and made all styles of rifle conversions from them. This 30 inch octagon is well marked and in good condition. I don't shoot my antques and assume it is a .56-50 or there abouts.
