The time has come to pass on this veteran grouse gun…This is a wonderfully light weight 12 gauge box lock ejector gun, made in Scotland by Alex Martin…The 26" barrels are choked cylinder and improved cylinder. 2 1/2" chambers with fine bores. The barrels are joined with a bottom rib and a sunken or swamped top rib. The top rib sits below the plain of the top of the barrels…This fine gun features precise double triggers and automatic ejectors…In addition to the makers name, the frame exhibits minimal tasteful engravings…Straight grip stock. Drops are 1 ½ and 2 ½ ". Length of pull is 14 ¾" over about ¾" of added matching wood. Stock is slightly cast to right…Overall fine condition, with 100% reblue on barrels...Checkering is worn but still serviceable…And now for the best part. This magic gun weighs just six pounds! For me, this is the perfect mid season grouse gun for those times when the birds are holding tight in dense cover, where shots are quick and under 10 yards…Ship to ffl or c&r...
