Description:
Serial #6406102, .30 Carbine, 18" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a modern production M1 Carbine, built on an original WW2 Inland-made receiver, and is currently in a "Scout" configuration suitable for use with a long eye-relief scope. The metal retains 97-98% of a dark parkerized finish with some mild silvering along a few of the high edges and projections, as well as on the bearing surfaces of the bolt and within the op-rod raceway. Additionally, there are a few very minor spots of plum-brown freckling on the unmarked barrel. The new, walnut stock has only a few very minor handling marks scattered about the otherwise excellent military oil finish, and the carbine is further outfitted with an UltiMak M6-B alloy handguard with integral Weaver rail. A 1943-dated US double magazine pouch by G.B. Co. is also included. This is a well-made modern M1 Carbine, and would make a nice utility gun for the field, or plinker for the range. FFL or C&R
