"SN: 9601 made in 1887 in Syracuse NY. 10 Gauge side by side with 32" Damascus barrels with a silver front bead and 3" chambers choked Modified/Improved Modified. Side lock with double triggers and extractors, cocking indicators, a thumb push opener and push button forend release. LOP measures 14 1/8" to the original lined horn butt plate with engraved screws and the drop measures 1 5/8" to 2 5/8". Bores have some pitting as expected, there is plenty of wear to the finish of the metal however the Damascus pattern is clearly defined and visible. The wood has plenty of handling marks and the original horn forend tip has been replaced with wood but structurally it is all there with no cracks or major damage. Cosmetically this gun shows its age but the action locks up tight and the barrels are tight and on face. Overall weight is 9lbs 2oz.
