An Early WWI Prussian Infantry Officer M1897 Pickelhaube Helmet In Fine Untouched Condition. The helmet has a fine untouched body as shown in the photos. All of the hardware on the helmet is fine and untouched with a wonderful look and has a dark and natural patinia. This includes the front Prussian Imperial Eagle plate, visor edge, neck guard, spike, and hardware. The interior liner is also fine and untouched.
This is an Officers Pickelhaube from a Prussian Infantry Regiment from WWI. The Pickelhaube of Commissioned Officers holding a rank from Lieutenant to Colonel are all identical in feature, but not quality. This Style Officers Pickelhaube Helmet Was Basically Unchanged From 1871 To 1899. This One Is a Very Fine Example That would fit in Any Fine Collection!
