Description:
The Model 48, chambered in .22 Magnum, has been a high demand revolver for Smith and Wesson since its release in 1959. It straddles the fence between a Target pistol and a "kit gun." The best description of them is they are just "nice little guns." They have enough size to not cramp the hand, and yet are small enough to carry comfortably. The .22 Magnum chambering is "just a little more" than .22 LR and consequently, it is suitable for target, small game hunting, pest control, and back-up for the hunting/trapping trip. This one may have been fired, but it doesn't show. .22 MRF
