Description:
This is a full box, 20 original rounds, of No. 1 Savage .30-30 smokeless ammunition manufactured by Savage with Steel Jacket bullets. The square corner, two piece box has the very collectible early Savage Indian logo on either side of the top with a nice cartridge cut and call out for Winchester and Marlin rifles having the early Utica, NY address. The box is solid with some edge wear and mild age soiling. The top label has some writing and a small area of missing label. The cartridges are in good to excellent condition with some age darkening and scattered very minor corrosion but all have the correct head stamps. A seldom-seen "Two Indian" box with good color that would display well with your early Savage model 99.
