Sako Deluxe Rifle 243 Win.
This model L579 (Mfr 1969) has all the deluxe features which includes a beautifully figuered blond Monte Carlo stock with skip line checkering, a contrasting forend tip and pistol grip cap. All metal surfaces are highly polished blued steel with factory engraving on the floor plate and trigger guard.The rifle sports a Leupold Vari X III 3.5-10x40 MM duplex scope in Leupold high gloss rings on Sako mounts and completed with a Pachmyr Decelerator pad bringing it to a 14" LOP.
It is undetermined if this rifle has ever been fired because there is no indication on the bolt face, and no loss of blue around the muzzle or inside the action. Patches run through the barrel come through clean and there is no residual copper in the bore. The wood and metal is near perfect with a barely detectable scratch on the right side of the stock below the front of the bolt which may rub out. See last picture. A very minty Sako.
