Description:
This is an original open strip of Maynard priming tape. Invented by Dr. Edward Maynard the thin strip of priming tape allowed for the easy priming of muskets that had been equipped with the tape priming systems that allowed for automatic priming. Included is what looks to be a complete roll of primers. This will make for an excellent display item to show with a rifle or for the advanced ammunition collection.
