Description:
This is a full box, 20 original rounds, of .30 U.S. Army Short Range ammunition manufactured by Winchester with 100 grains of smokeless powder for shooting up to fifty yards. The circa 1906 round corner box has a very nice top label with a partial side label missing part of the cartridge cut with red "W" side label. The box is solid with edge wear and overall age soiling. The cartridges are in very good condition showing age darkening of the cases with remnants of red tinting. A scarce box that would be a very good place holder in a collection or on display with your Krag or 1895 Winchester.
