Weihrough and Weihrough Spot Gmbh &Co. KG Sportwaffenfebrik is a German Spoting airgun and target rifle manufacturing company founded in Germany over a hundred years ago and is still current and run by descendants of the original founder and manufactures very high quality and accurate rifles today. There is no current importation of these rifles to the U.S.
This is a fine example of the Weihrough HW60M. These were imported at various times until 1995 by Beeman in Santa Rosa California and European American Armory in Florida. Rare in the U.S. Probably more common in Europe and U.K.
This is a single shot bolt action UIT type match target rifle manufactured in the best German tradition. It has seen very little use since new. Excellent condition. Two tone walnut stock with stippled grip and forearm, adjustable buttplate with a hard rubber pad, bright blued finish on the receiver and barrel. Bright polished bolt and receiver bed. The receiver is grooved for tip off (11mm) sight mounting. Includes a fully adjustable micrometer aperture sight set similar to Anshutz. Standardized accessory rail under fore end. Adjustable hair touch trigger. 26 inch heavy barrel 45 inches overall. 9+ lbs.
NOTE: it’s a good practice to NOT put your trigger finger inside the trigger guard until pointed at the intended target when the gun is loaded and safety is off. As the trigger can be adjusted to a very fine touch, it fires off quite easily.
