For those who can step up to the "rock stars"...this is about as good as it gets! A true 1st year gem and one of only 2,238 built in 1936! This one has a four digit S/N 2003 with matching bolt.
It is in near pristine condition throughout and exhibits all of the rare and unique features found only on the very earliest guns, such as: polished and carbonum blued receiver, FLAT faced floorplate release, FAT bolt release plunger, extra fine stock checkering, etc.
24" barrel with minty bore. Flawless mechanics. Internals are virtually new.
99% original Blue with more wear showing to the buttplate heel, along with a bit of flaking on trigger guard which is anticipated on 1st year guns. 98% original wood finish with only scattered faint marks. All correct components.
A stunningly beautiful and extremely difficult to find rifle.
