SOLD This Winchester Model 42 was produced in 1936. The shotgun's serial number is 22931. This shotgun has the 26 inch solid rib barrel choked for Skeet. The barrel is in very fine condition with a bright bore. The front bead is the correct red ivory bead for Skeet guns. This Winchester has been lightly used and well cared for. The original rust bluing would rate a 97% overall condition. There is some light blue loss on the high points of the gun from carry and use. The stock and forend retain their original finish. The checkering is in very fine condition with sharp points. There is no cracks or other damage to the stock or forend. The original butt plate is in fine condition with no chips. The "pull" is the standard 13 3/4 inch pull. All measurements are standard measurements for this Skeet gun. The action works smoothly as expected with this gun The take down feature is tight with no play. This is a exceptionally nice Model 42 Winchester Skeet gun for the serious collector and shooter! This Winchester would be a wonderful addition to any collection!
