Description:
For your consideration, a Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken model 1900 American Eagle Luger pistol chambered in 7.65x21 Parabellum. This piece is an excellent representation of early commercial Luger pistols. It exhibits the following early characteristics: 1st variation checkered thumb safety, narrow trigger, narrow grip safety, flush sideplate, flat spring extractor, flat and recessed breech block, and dished toggles with toggle lock. All numbered components match, including grips. As appropriate for this model, the side plate is unnumbered. The magazine is not numbered. The magazine has the later, rimmed loading button for which the frame is correspondingly relieved. Prospective owners can expect strawed parts rate at 60% or greater. Being marked "Germany" and by its serial number vs known ranges, this is a commercial gun, rather than part of the military trials. .30 Luger/7.65x21 Parabellum
