Description:
For sale is a Russian made Izhmash Saiga 12ga. (Model IZ-108) with Expert Conversion – in used but excellent condition with less than 200 rounds fired. Saiga-12 shotguns are quickly gaining popularity as serious home defense and duty guns, as well as competition (3-gun). It is a versatile platform based on the simple yet reliable AK-47/AKM and is manufactured in Russia my Izhmash. Due to import restrictions, all factory Saiga 12’s were originally imported in “hunting/sporting configuration” with the Fire Control Group (FCG) moved to the rear and without a pistol grip, which is NOT how this shotgun was originally designed. Over $1,100 was spent having this shotgun expertly converted back to the original configuration and modified for reliability as well as the addition of some custom features. The conversion included the following:

This gun is fully 922R compliant and functions flawlessly with all the loads I have tested it with. Total barrel length is approximately 20” to the end of the Shark Brake (Barrel without brake is approximately 18.2”). Original Russian 5 Round Stick Mag and two new ProMag 12 Round Drum Mags will be included in the sale. Two new ProMag 20 Round Drum Mags may be made available to winning .
Russian made Saiga’s haven’t been imported into the US since 2014 when in response to the annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation, U.S. President Barack Obama issued Executive Order 13662 on July 16, 2014 blocking the importation of all Russia-produced firearms.
