Kimber of Oregon Model 84 SuperAmerica .222 Remington. Made circa 1986, serial SATD10229 has a 22-inch barrel (ramp front sight with white-beaded blade, quarter rib with adjustable folding leaf). Features include a polished blue finish, attached bases, full-length claw extractor, two-position disc safety, cocking indicator and a tuned trigger. STOCK: The AAA-grade claro walnut is dressed with a satin finish, 24 lines-per-inch wrap checkering, scalloped cheek rest with shadow line, checkered steel butt plate with widow's peak, steel grip cap and inletted sling swivel studs. INCLUSIONS: A period-correct box with hand-written end label, Kimber rings (1-inch, 3015) and a load development target are included. DIMENSIONS: Weight (with bases) is 6.2 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.6 inches. CONDITION: The bore is pristine. Trigger pull is crisp. Metal finish is approximately 99 percent. Wood is approximately 98 percent owing to three minute finish imperfections on butt right. The box has significant taping. Rings are 99 percent. The price is firm and layaway is available. $3,500 plus shipping.
