SOLD J. Stevens A&T Co 12 Ga. Model 225, SxS double barrel hammer shotgun, made in 1906ish.
Nice shape for 120ish years old, bore is in fair condition with minor scattered pitting.
One small dent on top of the left barrel, just forward of the halfway point.
Firing pins look to be replacements, but it fires and functions as it should.
I have seen other model 225s, and for some reason the opening lever was shaped with the same bend as this one from the factory.
Lock up is tight. This model had a short run, and is an interesting member of the Stevens shotgun family.
