Description:
SOLD, Please see my other listings from my collection.
This great 1952 model 21 was ordered by Henry Uilhein of Lake Placid NY for whom money was no issue. Full fancy walnut specially selected and type A-carving (checkering), The order sheet specified who should pick the wood and that the stock was to be entirely hand-made with a 4 1/4 in circumference grip with an engraved steel grip cap and a leather covered pad.  The gun is #4 pattern engraved by John Kusmit and the dogs are superb, Skeet style beavertail forend specified, vent rib barrels are 26 " WS 1 and WS2 choked, single selective trigger.  .
All markings are correct, serial numbers match, jeweling on barrel flats, water table, forearm iron is all in great condition and engraving very sharp. The original Winchester leather covered factory pad is a bit hard but still looks good and I'd leave it be.  Overall excellent, tight, on face, ejectors timed, no problems.
All specs match the Cody letter with inspection records and the order sheet. Cast off 1/4 at heel and 3/8 at toe, pitch is 1 3/4 inch, 14 1/4 x 1/ 1/2 x 2 1/4.

A fine high grade example of Winchester's (and America's) finest shotgun. I shot quail with it once and a round of skeet, then put it away in the display case.
