Now aged-out and selling 1990s (SN 2,347,xxx) Winchester Model 70 Long-Action; 6.5-06 Improved also known as 6.5 Ackley; A.I.; A-Square Improved. It is the US version of the 6.5 x 55 Swedish – only better. Outperforms short-action Creedmoor or 260 Ackley and shoots High Master Aggregates at 1,000 yards without being a barrel-burner. More than 200 Fire Formed Cases from New PPU 25-06 Factory Brass are included along with Redding Type-S Neck Bushing Die and required accessories. A few cases are shown in the photos. The 28" Barrel is Free-Floated; Palma-Style (Straight Contour) 0.950” Diameter; Muzzle Turned 0.750 for Front Sight Base; Weight = 12¾ lbs.; Factory Adjustable Trigger now set at ~2 lbs. Action is Epoxy-Steel-Bedded; Select/Figured Walnut Master Class Stock/Highpower Match Style with Forend Rail; MacMillan 3-Way Buttplate & Pad; Thumbwheel Cheekpiece. Weaver Picatinny Base is included. There are some blemishes, imperfections and hidden tool marks in the barrel channel that do not affect operation or accuracy.
