Description:
"NSN, circa 1848-1850, .44 caliber, 2 ½" round barrel. Metal has turned to a brown patina. Breech is marked with a “P" left side flat and “DERINGER/PHILADEL", wedge escutcheon is missing from the right side. Wood Is good showing light handling marks. Action holds at half and full cock. The trigger guard has been replaced and is not an original piece.
