( SOLD ) This is a very nice, higher condition Winchester Model 94 carbine, ( 94 on the tang), chambered in the .25-35 caliber. The rifle has not seen much use, and the 20" barrel has an excellent, sharp, bright bore. Made in 1924 according to the Winchester Collectors site. The metal and wood retain much of the original finish, the pics give the best description of condition. The wood has several light handling marks, and minor bruises - but has not been sanded, still an excellent fit to metal. The receiver is turning a mottled brownish plum. The barrel still retains at least 90% blue. The sights are excellent, the rear hasn't been budged. The action is crisp and positive. Overall this is a great little carbine, and hard to find this good. Payment by cashiers check, personal check, or postal m.o.'s. Thank you.
