Description:
Offering for sale a 1940 vintage Remington Model 81 Woodmaster in 35rem. The rifle is in overall very good condition and is unmodified except for the addition of the aftermarket recoil pad. The rifle has 85+% original blue with wear generally on the edges/high points. There are no scratches/blems or rust/pitting to the metal and the barrel shroud is free from dents. The bore I would rate as excellent. The wood stock has minor handling marks and is free of any splits,cracks or repairs. The length of pull from the trigger to the end of the pad is 13 7/8" and the pad is 1' thick. Internally the rifle shows light use comensurate with the condition of the bore. Please view the photos as they provide the best indicator of condition. Overall this is a very nice pre-WW2 Remington. I have not shot this rifle and would recommend a professional inspection before putting it into use.

INSPECTION AND RETURNS: 3-day inspection period begins when your FFL receives the item. Please inspect the item well at your dealer for once you complete the transfer paperwork the item cannot be returned. If you decide to return, it must be packed in the original packing and shipped fully insured. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping/insurance charges. Once item is returned and inspected to be in the same condition as originally sent a refund will be issued minus the original shipping charges.
