Here is a very nice 1873 Winchester rifle made in 1885. Caliber is .38-40 with a very good bore, at least an 8 on a 1-10 scale. Action works very well and the gun has been well cared for and kept in fine condition over the 140 years of its existence. Wood and metal retain much of their original finish. The line across the wrist in the 4th picture is just a scratch, not a crack. Original dust cover. Lettering is all sharp and clear.
