1880 saddle ring carbine in 44-40. Benjamin Tyler Henry (h) mark can be found just forward of the lifter on the frame so this was a receiver that O. Winchester used from henry parts to produce this historic rifle... Total resto from Shooters Exchange in NC....bore is an 8...function perfect. Just fired 5 rounds of black powder ammo--- perfect it's ready for new owner and another 140 years of use....shipping is 50 plus ins is your option....the brass lifter has no calibre markings because in that time the 73 was only made in 44-40. This is a second variation...
