Product Description
The IF-5 is the total package. It is what every shooter is looking for - lightweight, great balance and most of all incredible accuracy. The I-Fluting increases surface area, reduces weight and adds rigidity to the barrel more than any other fluting design we offer. This means maximum heat dissipation and unbelievable accuracy all from a barrel that is 12 oz lighter than a bull barrel .
The IF-5 comes standard with a Forward Blow Compensator to give it that added touch - both in terms of looks and performance.
It has always been our goal to achieve bolt action accuracy from a semi-auto and this begins with the barrel. Our stainless steel barrels feature match bore and chamber tolerances. These dimensions are proprietary to Volquartsen and have evolved from over 25 years of testing. Digital gauging equipment ensures that each barrel meets our stringent criteria.
